The overall performance of the application has also improved (loading speed and opening documents), at least in the most common and simple tasks. In the case of Reader DC, definitely, the main improvement has been the user interface, where a nice dark gray predominates that does not strain your eyes and allows you to focus your attention on the document (at least in the latest version for Windows 7). Adobe knows this and, although not in a hurry, has been implementing improvements.
